What you can experience

The exhibition *Puppets*—organized to mark the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of Czech and Slovak puppetry on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity —showcases puppets from the collections of the Museum of Prague and highlights their unique role in Czech culture.

Visitors will discover the diverse forms and types of puppets, explore the various ways they can be used to tell stories, and learn about the work of prominent Czech set designers.

The *Puppets* exhibition is a collaborative project involving the Museum of Prague, the Czech Puppetry Centre, the Czech Centre of UNIMA, and the Minor Theatre. It forms part of the "Year of Puppet Theatre" initiative, which runs from June 2026 to July 2027.
