European Days of Conservation-Restoration

This year our museum will again participate in the European Days of Conservation-Restoration, which will take place from 14-20 October 2024 under the auspices of the European Conservation and Restoration Organisation ECCO.

The aim of the event is to highlight the importance of the care of cultural heritage and the conservation-restoration profession itself. It aims to bring European cultural heritage, history and shared values to the wider public and to involve the younger generation in the care of individual objects. The intention is also to highlight the themes that are important in the conservation-restoration of artefacts: authenticity, awareness, access and sustainability.

In the first year, activities related to the exhibition Conserved Past were held in our museum, and on the occasion of the second year, this exhibition was made available in virtual form on the museum's website.
